By creating an account or using Pesos, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Pesos does

Pesos is a personal finance tool. You upload bank statements and our AI extracts and categorizes your transactions so you can view spending summaries and trends.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the files you upload. Only upload your own bank statements.
• Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

AI categorization

Transaction categories are assigned by AI and may not always be accurate. Pesos provides categorization on a best-effort basis. You can manually correct any category. Do not rely on Pesos as your sole source of financial record-keeping.

Not financial advice

Pesos is an informational tool only. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, tax, or investment advice. The summaries, savings rates, and category breakdowns are provided for your personal reference. Consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

Service availability

Pesos is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI processing depends on third-party services which may experience downtime. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time.

Data and deletion

• You can delete individual bank accounts and all their associated transactions at any time.
• You own your data. We do not claim any rights over the content of your bank statements or transaction data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pesos and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate categorization, data loss, or service interruptions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Pesos after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
